BSPED Parents is an informal parent and caregiver support group for parents and caregivers of children with special education (504/IEP) needs in Berkeley Unified School District public schools. We are primarily organized via a long-enduring email discussion list. Occasionally members of the group organize for direct advocacy within the school district. We have recently begun an online support group, held monthly.

If your child has, or you suspect they have a learning disability, physical disability or behaviorial/mental health concern which impacts your child's ability to access the curriculum, and you need support, you are in the right place.
